This weekend my Auntie Donna and Uncle Don came for a visit. They drove down from British Columbia and we were so thrilled that they were able to stop in on their road trip! We had a fabulous visit and it didn't take long for the kids to fall in love with them! Molly LOVED goofing around with my uncle and the twins soaked up the snuggles from my aunt.
When the weekend was over they decided to stay an extra day, so today we took a trip to the zoo! It was beautiful and sunny out, and we had a great lunch outside while watching the flamingos. I forgot my camera but was able to steal the pictures from theirs!
Molly was thrilled to check out the zoo from the comfort of my uncles motorized scooter. She'd just point what direction she wanted to go, and he would drive. In fact when we were praying before bed tonight, she thanked God for her ride on Uncle Don's scooter.
Molly also enjoyed pointing out all her favorite animals and telling Don and Donna all about them. And of course the kids were spoiled by their aunt and uncle. They each got Olympic t-shirts. Here's Molly sporting her shirt with Miga (one of the mascots) on it!
It was such a wonderful visit and we were sad to see them go tonight. But we're looking forward to heading up north in July/August to see my family, so that's something to look forward to!

Looks like you guys had a great time! I spoke with Donna at Don's 70th birthday party and she was mentioning how they were going to head down to Sacramento for a visit - she was pretty excited!
