Hanging out in Southern California...

Steve's mom was starting her chemotherapy, so we made a quick decision to come down to Southern California to help them out. Molly, Garrett and Paige have been great medicine for Grandma, and Steve and I are so thankful we could be down here to lend a hand.

Steve took an afternoon to take the girls to a local pumpkin patch, while Garrett and I hung out with Grandma. They enjoyed a train ride, petting zoo, corn maze and of course picked up a couple of pumpkins for Grandma and Grandpa. Molly was in heaven being around all the animals. The girls had a great time with Daddy, and he even got a few pictures on his camera phone! I was surprised how good they turned out for a phone!

We'll probably be heading home on Saturday, although we wish we could stay longer. It's always hard to leave family. We ask for your continued prayers for Shirley!
