Halloween Festivities...

Well, today was a wonderful Halloween. We started the morning by making some pink pancakes, which was a recipe recommended by my friend DeAnna (check out the recipe here). Then we did a little shopping for our bathroom renovation, which is an exciting little project for Steve and I. And then we spent the afternoon and evening with our friends the Gallardos. We had a quick dinner while getting the kids ready and in their costumes. DeAnna's friend Jenn even helped out by curling Isabelle and Molly's hair!

I must say that the kids were pretty darn adorable all dressed up in their garb. Isabelle was Alice in Wonderland, and she and Molly looked quite cute together in their coordinating blue dresses.

Then we all piled into the minivans to go to the Harvest Carnival at First Baptist Church. It was a lot of fun and they had all kinds of games that the kids played for candy. The twins were also quite a hit looking all cute and chubby in their costumes. Three different people stopped me and took their pictures. I thought they must be pretty adorable for strangers to take their photo.

Then it was back to the Gallardos where Molly and Isabelle enjoyed handing out candy at the door. All in all... a great Halloween!
