The twins enjoyed their first outing to the snow too, although they spent the outing attached to our backs. Considering our double stroller doesn't traverse snow, the only way to get them around was with the backpack carriers (which we conveniently have two of). They were happy as can be having a birds-eye view of everything.

Of course the highlight of the day was the sledding. That meant a whole lot of trekking up hills, which is a lot of work when you're carrying a 27-pound baby on your back, helping a preschooler AND carrying a sled. Steve got his workout for the day.

And of course it was a little intimidating going down the hill by herself, so Molly was accompanied by Daddy AND Garrett in the backpack. If you don't believe me... check out the video below. I went down once with Paige too, but was a little scared of hurting her. Or me. Or all of us.
And here's Faye and Keilani going down together. So cute!

Some of the other snow activities included snow angels, snowball fights and of course... the making of a snowman. Molly and Keilani also enjoyed their share of eating snow.

After a fun lunch out we couldn't have had a better day. The kids were all golden and there wasn't a single melt-down. Yay! And tonight Molly already started asking when we'd be able to go again. Obviously it was a hit!

Great family picture!! Looks like a really fun day!
Yay for living close to the snow, but far enough that we don't have to drive in it!!
