This year we spent Christmas Eve with the Hare and Faddis clans. Unfortunately, the last day of school before Christmas break, Molly brought home the gift of the stomach flu and on Christmas Eve it hit Mommy (me). I probably should have just stayed home, but instead I curled up in the corner with a blanket and tried not to breathe on anyone. I couldn't even stomach Aunt Nancy's famous prime rib dinner, which was a sad state of affairs. Thankfully, Steve grabbed my camera and took some photos of the evening and the cousins exchanging gifts.
The kids exchanged books with their cousins, which is always fun. And Aunt Nancy made our kids each their own fleece blanket, which was definitely a hit and they now refuse to sleep without them.
