SMOM Christmas Party

Today was the SMOM Holiday Party.  The ladies who organized this did an amazing job, and provided ham and macaroni & cheese for at least 45 families (the rest being potluck).  It was amazing.  The also had a sugar cookie decorating station and a Christmas craft station, which the kids enjoyed!

One of the mommies had her father dress up as Santa Claus and distribute gifts to all the kids.  This is the first year that my kiddos all WANTED to sit on Santa's lap.  It was interesting to watch all the families with younger kids have their children scream on Santa's lap and realize that this was our family not long ago!

The gifts from Santa were pre-purchased and wrapped by us... the parents.  So needless to say, Garrett was very happy to receive his new Super Friends DVD!
