Well, our family boards the plane for Portland this afternoon and I just wanted to write a quick note to wish you all a Merry Christmas. Mommy and Daddy have been trying to explain Christmas to me and here's my synopsis. This is what Christmas is from the perspective of a one-year old:
We get presents... because it's the birthday of a very important person. His name is Jesus... and he's God. He loves me more than Mommy and Daddy and all my grandparents and aunts and uncles put together. He was born on Christmas in a barn. Can you believe God came here to hang out with us? And if I believe He came here and trust Him with my life, then He and I get to be buddies and hang out together FOREVER! Who could pass up hanging out with God? So Merry CHRISTmas!
