It was a 100F day, so there was nothing better than hanging out in the pool. Molly loved hanging out with her friends from the club. Garrett and Paige kept us running as the pool had a "no life jacket/floaties" rule. I guess the rationale behind the rule was to prevent kids from being overconfident in the water. It definitely kept Steve and I on our toes!

The "no floaties" rule ended up being an awesome thing for Molly and she tried swimming without them for the first time. She was just in and out of the pool, going under water, and swimming at least 5 feet at a time! We were so proud of her! I'm sure she'll be swimming confidently by the end of the summer as we'll be in the pool at least 3 times a week between swim lessons and play dates.
